Daniel here, I discovered my passion for theatrical lighting and design at SFSU (San Francisco State University). As a student, I remember immersing myself in the art of maintaining and designing theatrical productions, working with traditional incandescent fixtures and mastering the ancient Strand lighting board. Those sometimes frustrating yet rewarding experiences taught me valuable skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving, which have now become the cornerstone of our new service offering.

How many of you learned on a Strand?

I noticed that the higher the equipment, the more challenging it can become to maintain, especially in a school setting.

Sparked by a client's request for event lighting, coupled with the need to repair their school theater's dimmer rack for the 2024 season. Drawing on my experiences at SFSU, I applied my knowledge to swiftly diagnose and resolve the issue, ensuring a seamless premiere for their play.

If you are only going to one exhibition this year..

Then I urge you to visit the new Janelle Awkward exhibition in lower east side New York. Photographs with layers upon layers of visual information. Total brain meltdown once you start analyzing Janelle Awkward's images. The exhibition here in New York was absolutely stunning and I can 100% recommend it.
