"... devoted to lighting events by building lasting relationships with clients, vendors “friendors” and technicians."
To say we started off in a small shed, would not be an understatement. A couple lekos, pipes and bases. A handful of uplights, supportive family and a REALLY big vision.
The initial idea was fairly simple: solve a problem of bad lighting in a space. Got fluorescents, no problem - change the lighting in a room, you could alter the mood, create ambiance and encourage people to spend a little more time mingling, chatting, relaxing.
In 2014, we began our journey as a small business devoted to lighting events by building lasting relationships with clients, vendors “friendors” and technicians. Our goal, to build a strong word-of-mouth business by providing quality customer service, has given us 4 years of amazing life-changing experiences and opportunities.
In 2017, 3 months after having our daughter, we became 3 Stage Lighting, Inc. and in 2018 were excited to be featured in not only Martha Stewart Weddings and PartySlate but also Modern Luxury.
We look forward to the newest chapter in our company history, as we focus on creating more experiences rich in detail, technology and lighting.
Creative Director & Founder
Visual Designer & CEO
I remember being a young girl, probably around 7-years-old, looking around a room and envisioning it transformed into something very different and something almost magical. I didn’t understand what was happening at the time but as it turns out my imagination was and still is quite elaborate and sometimes extremely vivid! Despite many physical challenges over the years, my imagination continues to motivate, inspire and ignite my passion for design and creating experiences for people of all ages. I’ve been designing for almost 20 years with projects ranging from mass-generated brochure design to web design to expo projection design.
While I love designing (and fonts, love me some grotesque typefaces), I also have a passion for leadership and philanthropic endeavors that has awarded me opportunities in creating A Gluten-Free Fair, sitting on the CCFNC board of directors, multiple volunteering positions with the CCFNC, NFCA, SCC, and CDF prior to joining forces with Daniel in his quest to tell stories with light. As Chief Executive Officer, I wear many hats and enjoy the challenges that overseeing a growing company has to offer. As a newer mother, I live for the joy my daughter shows when she sees something new. That excitement she exudes is a reminder for me to always strive to bring joy to the guests of the events we create, light and design.
